Caring for the Community
"Now you are Christ's body, and individually parts of it. Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then, mighty deeds; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all teachers? Do all work mighty deeds? Do all have gifts of healing: Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts"(1 Corinthians 12:27-31)
We, the People of St. Peter's Church, are the Body of Christ with one objective "one body and one mind". Since each of us is equally blessed with a unique spiritual gifts that are ours to share to build the Body of Christ. In our journey as family of God, we are called to share in different ways. Our stewardship of our community requires that we give our best to share our talent and time, as well as our treasure and pray to God to help us to fulfill our purpose in life.
